The month of Qur’an is upon us and I’ve been reflecting on how Allāh protects those who memorize his book. My father has been a hafidh since childhood and recently was left battling a brain tumor, and although he forgot most things for a while the Quran remained a constant.

“Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults.”
