@elonmusk There is a section of Pennsylvania right now where 5 conjoined counties are without a maternity ward. This is the size of Rhode Island. This is also one of the poorest sections of the north east. Having a child here is nearly financially impossible.

@elonmusk If this does not change, the US will not be capable of sustaining its numbers soon. Rural America will disappear. On top of this, rural hospitals are shutting down their maternity wards so if you do become pregnant you are unable to deliver your child safely.
