The Saltwater Coastal Mob recently met with the Chief Minister to discuss their plans to develop Manthathpe as a service and business hub for the coastal homelands. The group comprise the Rak Kirnmu; Yek Maninh; Yek Nangu and, Kura Thipman clans. https://t.co/2iZrYJ0aLS
Due to the current severe weather and flooding, TDC has closed its Palumpa resource centre.
Our team in Palumpa are assisting with ferrying stranded people and distributing food throughout community.

The Thamarrurr rangers recently retrieved a satellite tag that was deployed on a 4.5m large-tooth sawfish!
The sawfish was tagged in September with the involvement of the Uunguu Rangers and W.A’s department of primary industries near the mouth of the Roe River in the Kimberly's.
Thank you to everyone who made operation Tarn a success!
It was a great example of cross-agency collaboration and the importance of finding locally-led solutions for local issues.

The Rangers have been out collecting water samples off Yelcherr Beach for the ENI gas plant. The Rangers conduct Environmental monitoring on behalf of ENI.
This helps ensure that there are no adverse impacts on marine life from the gas plant.
