Jake Schaffner- tons of contact, good plate discipline, & good athlete. Not much power. Ellsbury vibes kind of.
The Red Sox lean more towards good hit tools & try to tap into more power. Could be a great fit.
Also most likely an underslot pick to save $.
Diving into Owen Hull. He was ranked the #67 prospect by @MLBPipeline. #60 by @BaseballAmerica.
Interesting blend of power and speed. 6-4, 215. Above-average raw power, but has a habit of hitting it into the ground. Plus runner with a chance to stick in CF. Savvy baserunner too.
Patrick Sandoval in his Red Sox debut:
4.1 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 Ks, 65 P / 41 S
749 days since his last MLB start. Tommy John and so many setbacks. And he was about as good as you coulda hoped for.
@RideThePineMLB drop Jason Adam who was solid but bad and injured recently despite being a trusted HD guy in the past? while I don't trust the Red Sox Tyron Guerrero's numbers are insane and has 5 HDs last 20 days
