Srngara rasa is a direct contradiction to the Gita. But those who don’t see don’t wish to see.
@Shiva_Uvacha Firstly I educated you on the meaning of sublimation, because you tried to sound smart, and came across like a buffoon.
Secondly, I made no mention of your fictional “yogis who follow this path.” Yogis are not a standardized title. Anyone can claim to be a yogi and be a pervert.
@VedicWisdom1@davidfrawleyved What I’m suggesting is that perhaps परमानु may actually refer to molecule. As far as I know परमानु was used to indicate the smallest particle that exhibits a substance’s nature - which fits molecule better since atoms don’t exhibit the properties of the compounds they exist in.
@VedicWisdom1 Not in my experience.
For me the vast majority of my life has been sukha.
When people stop thinking life is a curse, then only they see it as a privilege.
@VedicWisdom1@mankuthimma_ Because the perfect race horse is both fast and light, breeding has focused on Thoroughbreds with huge muscle concentrations but light bones… producing a breed of horse with what one writer called "the heart of a locomotive [and] champagne-glass ankles".
@I_Sail_Cosmos_@Sassan256424653@56Dbhau Lactose is a sugar.
To get 60g protein from milk you need to drink over 2 liters of milk daily…
Not to mention you will still spike your insulin since milk is more than 50% carbs.
@VedicWisdom1@Virtual0Real नमस्तुभ्यं महोदयाय ।
We agree on commercial practices (re: milk, egg, otherwise).
But indeed methods are separable, just as more than one path can lead to the same destination.
My father in law had his own coup a long time ago. The hens were wild, and the eggs unfertilized.
@VedicWisdom1@Virtual0Real Also, if you hold eggs to the bar of carrying the burden of its methods, then we must apply the same rule to all foods.
Milk arguably is 100x more horrific than eggs.
@VedicWisdom1@Virtual0Real I also oppose chick culling, but saying it is worse than meat is hyperbole.
Meat requires taking of life, independent of methods, eggs do not. Meat is produced via selective breeding.
There is no food that carries no burden — even plants.
@setnakht777@VedicWisdom1 Eggs aside (though even that is debatable morally from a vegan - systems of harm - perspective), everything else he said is absolutely correct.
Harming living creatures, and the destruction of sentient life is not sympatico with Hinduism.
