The Empire may be aesthetically Nazi, but is surely American 🇺🇸
The Death Star is the nuke
The Republic is what America was before it went to “the dark side” and became “the very thing it sought to destroy”
Padme is the ideal and love 🇺🇸 had for democracy & ultimately lost
@MurrayHillGuy1 one guy’s game is simply existing
the other one is making his status and wealth his game
not much of a surprise why “guy #2” has to perform more. he raised the baseline before he even spoke a word
non-performative success is the goated sauce

the more you’re able to detach, especially from your sacred cows, the more whole your foundation is.
that’s the secret process behind jester intelligence.
they’re able to poke fun at everything and even criticize the King because of how well they’ve mastered the art.
microcosmically, you can apply this process to reach the ground of your soul in Eckhartian fashion.
if you cling onto seeing yourself as successful —> remove it.
“I am intelligent” —> remove it.
“I am spiritual” —> remove it.
“I am admired” —> remove it.
what are you left with after you remove the crutches? where you can no longer assert but instead receive, from “God” or wherever shower thoughts come from.
you can only go so far being self serious. if it’s intelligence, eventually you sound like a snob. if its spirituality you cling onto, eventually you become a hippie with a holier than thou ego.
like building muscle, you have to put stress and tear apart your identity in order to unlock the next ceiling.
and this is why it’s cool to be able to take a joke.
@themopinomicon sometimes I find it hard to see humanity moving beyond its current “degeneracy”
I put degeneracy in quotes because I think people get infatuated with declinism. It’s as if 60s hippies didn’t trip balls and cowboys didn’t smoke opium.
the comfier life gets the more difficulty
