Ok so it took another year but VAST look like the are finally delivering big time. Fortunately I averaged down throughout that time so very happy with current developments. Currently building a small position in VRS.

Massive re rate happening on VAST glad I followed it down, once legacy issue and funding is resolved this will fly high and LTH will be rewarded for their patience!

Been away for a while, but I have averaged down with VAST, SYN and CEG, research suggests a very positive outlook after some hard, gritty times. Added VRS and POW to the mix to make up what I’m calling my Gap Year Portfolio. More on this later. VAST kicking things off!

Rainy start, we had to get accommodation off route last night, so taking the train to get back on course an catch up some time, saying goodbye to my travelling companions the Canadians too, very Sad

Late start for me 9am. You can tell I work in advertising so thanks to today’s walking sponsors! 😂 Todays walk is 27km with a Hotel bed at the end of it, hence the relaxed approach.

Morning, yesterday and the rain have played havoc with my feet and I have some nasty blistering. So going for a short day and got a confirmed place to stay tonight, so what can possibly go wrong.

Alls well that ends well, I am now staying in a hotel in Vercelli, run by a guy that looks like Peter Stringfellow and decorated by Lawrence Lewellen Bowen, what could be a better end to difficult day

Having a nightmare, turned up in small town only to find the Pilgrim hostel shut and the other hotel closed, now waiting in the pitch dark on a deserted train station for the last train to the next bigger town which is due in 30 mins hopefully!

Ok here’s the weirdest thing, I’ve been walking for about 3 hours, usual up and down nasty hillside tracks, then I arrive at vineyard and château, well they had just been hosting breakfast for a bunch of Ferrari drivers and kindly they said i could have what I want for free!
