Anila A recently took part in the Youth Open at Draycote, which attracted entries from around the country. This was her first race since transitioning into the ILCA 4 Class. She came 12th overall out of 35 entries, also placing the highest out of her RYA transition training group

The Independent Schools' Volleyball matches commenced with the Bromsgrove girls. They played Wrekin College and Sevenoaks.
The Bromsgrove boys made their debut in matches against Brighton College and Birkdale. The team are now through to the semi-final.

Bromsgrove Fencers were extremely successful at Warwick Age Group Épée last weekend, especially in the mixed U19 event where Ronny L and Archie W made it an all Bromsgrove final. In the end, Ronny took the victory pushing Archie down into second place. (1/2)

Well done to our U12A netballers who put in a fantastic performance against King’s High Warwick, securing a victory after a hard-fought game.
The U12B team faced a tougher challenge but showed determination and came away having learnt a lot to build on in future matches.

Mona N raced at the 29er Ovington winter championships last weekend at Weymouth-Portland National Sailing Academy. Her learning curve continues to be very steep and her resilience is paying off. With her helm Charlotte, they achieved 15th overall and 3rd girls.

In the last games session of half term, Year 7 boys took part in House Rugby. It was a competition played competitively but in good spirits.
The final House standings are as follows:

Some of our Upper Fourth pupils got the chance to meet OB Ollie Lawrence at a recent match. As rugby players themselves, he imparted some words of wisdom from his own rugby days at Bromsgrove. Thank you, Ollie, for taking the time out of your evening to speak to the pupils.
The U13A girls’ hockey team have just qualified for the IAPS National Finals, finishing as regional runners up.
They finished top of their group, winning 5 matches and drawing 1. Bromsgrove then won their quarter final & semi final but narrowly lost to Repton in the final.
