@winterfoldhs@WinterfoldTrips What a super Yr2trip to @dudleyzoo. Despite the weather the children enjoyed an interactive workshop, combining their Geography and Science topics. They explored adaptation and the polar regions, followed by an animal hunt and a ride on the train!
Year 8 have completed striking abstract plant studies inspired by artist Tim fowler. They used @poscauk paint pens and explored his style of contour line drawing mixed with contrasting colours. @winterfoldhs
Year 5 have been studying the formal elements such as tone and texture during their project on endangered animals. They have shown excellent attention to detail on their animals. @winterfoldhs
Year 2 have been exploring a wide variety of living things from all over the world. In honour of #davidattenborough
turning 100 they have sketched British birds, showing great attention to detail. This is in preparation for water colour painting next session. @winterfoldhs
Our Careers Committee led this week’s Pupil Voice assembly, interviewing solicitors about careers in law, the skills needed to succeed, and pathways into the profession. It was an inspiring and informative session for our pupils. #CareersInLaw#PupilVoice@winterfoldhs
