Don't miss out on our June start date for our Microcredential in concussion! This course would be great for anyone involved in amateur sports and an interest in concussion! #concussion#gaa#rugby#soccer
Big thanks to the staff of @ConnollyED2@ConnollyNursing for their amazing participation in our Resus Skills Training Day. Special nod to Fiona Fenton, @CarlitoByrnito @izabella_orban! Here's to training together!
Well done to @bronaghmacm and @dbreslin, who spoke today at #IAS2023 about GECS’ recent trip to Nyabondo and the importance of teaching through simulation.
Our time in St. Joseph’s Hospital has drawn to a close. As we reflect on a week of hard work and positivity, we are excited to follow the ongoing development of the MTC. We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with the wonderful medical professionals of Nyabondo.
Day one in Nyabondo was a great success. Visiting the new trauma centre and getting stuck in with theory and practical skills, it was a day full of activity and enthusiasm!
"78% of NCHDs are at risk of burnouts." This happened to me last year. Fell asleep behind the wheels driving home after an extremely exhausting night shift in a chronically understaffed and overcrowded ED. #StandingUp4NCHDs
Agree. Emergency Departments under severe pressure and along with the rest of the acute hospitals we’re the ONLY part of the acute unscheduled health service open 24/7. We’re shouldering a well described capacity deficit that has been neglected for a decade - long prior to COVID.
We are stepping up our support for Ukraine.
For the first time, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and equipment to a country under attack.
We are also strengthening our sanctions against the Kremlin.
