I so admire @jasonbenetti, not just for his great skill as a broadcaster but for his generosity in so honestly and compellingly sharing his journey with cerebral palsy to encourage and educate others.

#Packers direction - football operations Milt Hendrickson says Chris McClellan "checked a lot of boxes" from middle of last season through this spring: "Just a guy the more you watched, the more he grew on us. That's why we ultimately made the decision to go get him."
โWeโre heading into another exceptionally active weather pattern beginning today, with additional focus on Sunday and Monday. This includes the risk of severe weather.
Here are some lessons learned after last weekโs active stretch that I think will help you make decisions and stay safe moving forward.
๐ Outdoor warning sirens, or โtornado sirens,โ are old World War II and Cold War technology originally implemented to warn the public of air raids and nuclear strikes. They were later repurposed to warn people who were outdoors of imminent natural disasters like tornadoes. The key word here is โoutdoor.โ They were never intended to be a warning mechanism heard indoors. Furthermore, warning technology has advanced with the advent of NOAA Weather Radios and smartphone apps, which are intended to warn you indoors and away from home. Please do not rely on outdoor warning sirens to alert you to an approaching tornado. Odds are, you wonโt hear them indoors anyway over the roar of the storm.
๐ก Do not wait until a warning is issued to get to your place of shelter. By then, it may be too late to seek shelter safely, especially if you need to walk or travel to your safe place. You need to be at your place of shelterโwhether that is your home, a friendโs home or an accessible sturdy structureโwhen a watch is issued. A watch is issued when conditions are favorable for severe weather, though severe thunderstorms often have not yet developed. They may develop within 30 minutes or within 3 hours, but the watch should hopefully provide you with ample time to wrap up whatever you are doing and head to your place of shelter and safety. Once you reach your home or safe place, you need to make sure you maintain situational awareness and have ways to receive continuous updates and alerts, like our live streaming coverage on KMBC-TV, our app, a NOAA Weather Radio, and Wireless Emergency Alerts on compatible smartphones. I know it can be a major inconvenience to cancel plans and restrict your day or evening around the weather, which may not even impact you, but it is the decision of least regret.
โค๏ธ Active stretches like this lead to the necessity of communicating multiple severe weather risk days. It may seem repetitive, especially if your backyard isnโt hit by a severe thunderstorm, but it is necessary. Itโs rare for every single home, neighborhood, town, and city to be impacted by large hail, damaging wind, flash flooding, or tornadoes during a severe weather event, though it does occasionally happen. A lot of the time, you may not even get rain while a town a couple of counties over is hit by a strong EF-2 tornado. That was the case on more than one occasion last week. Iโd encourage you to think of your friends, neighbors, and fellow Kansans and Missourians who may have their world turned upside down during a severe weather event. If yours isnโt, you are abundantly fortunate.
Thank you for listening to this stream of consciousness. I hope it calms fears, informs, and calls you to action in the times ahead. Please consider sharing this post with your friends.
Iโll see yโall out there.
@RossUglem How long did it take for you to get comfortable deciding a first round vs second round grade, etc? What about your vertical board and stacking talent?

The guy squirting water into Zach Ertzโs mouth is Joe OโPella. Heโs an athletic trainer thatโs been with the team for over 15 years at this point.
NFL teams donโt really have water boys, athletic trainers are usually the ones responsible for having water on the practice field and during games, but this post is absolutely hilarious.
A guy who rehabbed my ACL tear in my second year, has a masters degree from Pitt, and has years of experience keeping Eagles players healthy and on the field being called a โWaterboyโ is crazy, and Iโm already giving him shit for it, but good lord this post is so wildly misleading.
Either way, thought Iโd clear the air, that the people with Water Bottles during games actually serve much bigger roles on NFL Teams.
WEATHER UPDATE (3/22/2026):
After the warmest March day in recorded KC history we had a beautiful Sunday sunrise which will be followed by a strong cold front.
The wild March isn't over. What is next?

Whoever came up with the phrase, "The calm before the storm," certainly had this morning in mind.
Edit: This is a comment about the weather, not football.
