@G1DBAM Literally an Aaron Gordon prototype. Elite athlete, versatile defender, just needs to develop the jumper. Don’t understand the hate , he’d be a great fit next to Jokic.
My top Nuggets draft targets:
Dailyn Swain: Elite 2-way upside, Watson-like tools
Christian Anderson: Bench creator with elite handle
Jayden Quaintance : Defensive machine, raw but huge upside
Koa Peat: Aaron Gordon mold, jumper is the swing skill
Ebuka Okorie — Scorer.
@DNVR_Nuggets@KevinOConnor One of the rawest prospects in this draft. Arguably has the tools and upside to guard 1-5, but the lack of production and health concerns are real questions. Denver makes sense, but I’m not sure he’s a Day 1 rotation player offensively. Defensively though, he’s already phenomenal
@KevinOConnor I also have Yaxel falling out of the lottery despite believing he’s a top 10 talent, but I don’t believe this is a Knecht situation. His defense, versatility, feel, and intangibles give him real OG Anunoby- Swiss Army knife type potential. Can you elaborate more on his fall?
Darius Acuff Jr.
In a loaded PG class, Acuff stands out. Elite offensive package with rare scoring and creation ability. Defense is the question, but don’t overthink it. One of Calipari’s best guard prospects ever Future superstar potential should be in the top 4 discussions!
Draft Sleeper: Labaron Philon
I know he’s already viewed as a lottery talent, but Philon is making a real push for PG2 on my board. High-level scorer with great touch around the rim, advanced guard instincts, confidence, and defensive upside. The makeup is there!

@APH00PS@guerillasports You don’t speak for everyone. Cam Johnson is the best player in the deal, yet Denver is adding a pick? If it was just Jones Jr. for Johnson, you take it, but adding assets makes no sense. Even Beal at $5M hurts Denver financially we need every penny possible. Terrible value.
Denver adds a physical, versatile big in Isaiah Stewart who can play with Jokić or back him up while gaining multiple seconds. Detroit gets much-needed shooting with Cam Johnson on a valuable contract. Both teams address key needs. Also creating much needed apron space. Lmk?
@esidery So Phoenix gets the better player AND moves up 21 spots? Denver moves its best trade asset just to clear 5M? Pick #26 shouldn’t be included without real value coming back. How does taking on an $18–19M player create flexibility for a $22–25M Watson extension? Horrible!
@NuggetsNationCP Both players provide replaceable archetypes that aren’t worth 20M+. Cam is a 6’8 shooter with average defense, while Braun’s limited shooting/creation hurts spacing. Those roles can be found cheaper. Watson has the highest upside and freeing up money and getting assets is a must!
@SleeperNuggets No. Braun and Johnson bring winning attributes, but they’re replaceable. Having three $20 M+ wings is bad roster building for a team with limited flexibility. If you can turn Johnson into picks or young assets and move off Braun’s deal, you do it.
Hannes Steinbach
• Elite rebounder with great touch and feel for the game.
• Needs growth as a playmaker and rim protector.
• Starting 4/5 upside with floor-spacing ability.
• Most skilled center in the draft, projects as a Sabonis-type big if playmaking develops.
Nate Ament
•6’10” prospect with upside despite offensive inconsistency.
• Needs development, but the talent, flashes, and defensive upside are there.
• Must improve his efficiency and consistency as a scorer.
• Projects as a 3rd/4th option with shot creation.
Weight room!
Draft Sleeper: Dailyn Swain
• Mid-to-late first , but teams may regret passing.
• Elite ISO scorer with handle, self-creation, and 63% rim finishing.
• 6’8” with a 6’10” wingspan, 1.7 steals, and real defensive pride.
•Shot is the question but 82% FT is promising for 3pt
Defensive guess for Denver:
Interior D-Line: Cam Jordan is my guy great veteran presence coming off an impressive year.
Linebacker: Unsure here. With the Strand deal and rumors of an Alex Singleton extension, Denver may address this in the draft.
With free agency looming, here’s my guess at what Denver will target offensively
1. Starting-tier RB:
Kenneth Walker III or Travis Etienne Jr. look like the favorites.
2. WR depth:
A cheap, reliable pass catcher like Stefon Diggs or Romeo Doubs.
3. Tight end depth:
Knox?
