I was emotionally abused by the whole of the #Bitcoin Ordinals space.
I was told that releasing a Bitcoin Puppet derivative would guarantee me tons of money, like six figures kinda money.
No way, that can't be true; can it?
I started investigating and lo and behold, it seemed that you could actually just take all of the puppet traits and make them in a slightly different art style, and people would gobble them up!
This was MY chance. I wasn't artistic, so I decided to use stable diffusion to make my art and even make all of the traits completely unique to the puppet ecosystem.
Fast forward to weeks of me sitting in my basement, subsisting on instant noodles and pure hype. My workspace was a chaotic blend of digital sketches, discarded ramen cups, and an endless stream of memes to keep my sanity intact. My friends stopped calling, my family started sending โare you alive?โ texts, but I was in too deep. Bitcoin Puppet glory awaited.
Finally, the launch day arrived. I was a jittery ball of nerves and caffeine as I hit the big red button to release my collection. I sat there, refreshing my browser like a maniac, waiting for the money to rain down. Hours turned into days, and the only thing pouring was my tears.
I hit social media with the energy of a thousand memes, promoting my collection like my life depended on it. I slid into DMs, joined Discord channels, and spammed retweets. The responses? Brutal. "Another derivative? Yawn." "These look like my dog drew them." "Stick to something original, dude."
My heart sank as the sales trickled in at a pace slower than a snail on vacation. The community that had seemed so lit was now a pit of savage trolls. My dream was rapidly turning into a meme-worthy disaster, and the very people who had hyped me up were now roasting me harder than a marshmallow at a bonfire.
In the forums and chat rooms, the comments were ruthless. "Another cash grab." "People like this are ruining the space." I was getting ratioed into oblivion. The emotional abuse was relentless, and I found myself questioning my life choices as I ate ramen for the tenth day in a row.
I lost weight, not from stress, but from a strict diet of ramen and existential dread. My sleep schedule was wrecked, haunted by dreams of my NFTs being used as kindling. I felt more isolated than a meme format that's out of style.
The Bitcoin Ordinals space had broken me, but it also turned me into a meme lord. I learned to value my own creativity, to trust my instincts, and to create with the true spirit of the internet: for the lulz. And while I never saw those promised six figures, I gained something far more valuable: a terible Down Bad Collection and a story to laugh about forever.

War skeptisch ob der neuen Health App von Google, war aber auch nie ein Freund des Vorg๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝngers, muss aber sagen, dass mir Health (nach 2 Tagen Nutzung) ziemlich gut gefรคllt.
PSA: DOWN BAD PUP MINTERS โ๏ธ
Really sickened to hear about @MagicEden removing my bitcoin collection from their site.
To those who minted, I have all the pngs saved on my old computer which I had to sell to pay rent.
Thanks for only minting 10% of my collection.
