I remember when election fraud wasn’t attempted because the risk of being caught and the consequences were too great. If people aren’t held accountable we may as well stop having elections. I’m not ok with any of this.
So… we’re expected to believe that in California, out of three candidates, the third place candidate, who conceded her campaign because she was mathematically eliminated from the run-off, suddenly received tens of thousands of votes from mail-in votes which all came in *after* Election Day, while the other two candidates received no late mail-in votes, and the second place candidate (who was surging as a Republican candidate in the bluest state in the country) is now in third place and mathematically eliminated from the run-off.
… and we’re supposed to trust that this is an honest and true election.
If you’re not angry about this, you need to be.
@PixelsnPolyg0ns@Grand_DM@archeohistories To my understanding they’re not even the same characters (or full set of players). They are playing the descendants of characters, henchmen that became characters, etc. I feel like it’s more accurate to say he’s played the same setting since then but whatever. Good for him.
@archeohistories I’ve seen the short on this & I guess the claim stands but it really depends on how you define “same campaign.” They’re not using the same characters and the players have changed. So the setting has remained constant but for some of us that’s only a single element in a campaign
Honestly, one of the best movies ever. Will always be in my top 10. And this scene is one of the major reasons why. Nice to know the “behind the scenes” info on it. This scene made me a big Robert Shaw fan.
In Jaws, Robert Shaw was drunk in the first take of this intense monologue.
He struggled with alcoholism and was a heavy drinker during Jaws production.
He suggested to Spielberg that, since the characters were drinking in the scene, he should have a few real drinks to get into character.
Spielberg agreed but then regretted it.
On the first take, Shaw got very drunk.
Crew members had to carry him onto the boat. He slurred lines, wandered off-script, and the filming was halted.
He had a blackout and didn’t remember much.
Early the next morning, Shaw called Spielberg to apologize and begged for a reshoot. He showed up sober, nailed it.
And that take was used.
@OriginalGrogna1@rpgcyrusrite Holmes Blue Box set. Then I discovered AD&D was a thing so it was followed immediately after the PHB and DMG. And then I was all out of lawn mowing money and several months passed before I started buying modules. 😅
@GrampsToolshed@rpgcyrusrite Same! I used to hide my DMG inside my math book. Mom comes in, son studying, check, all good, mom walks out. Son is happy. Math grade, not so much.
@OGCrimsonJester I turn off anything with Seth Rogan in it. He’s never been funny and it’s always just “pot humor.” Amazing what Hollywood tries to feed us.
@BarackObama It is utterly clear that you are now, and always were, an absolute joke. Pathetic. If only you were wise enough to drift off into obscurity.
