@whipplikedcream I’m not too educated on arfid, but I know it’s usually linked to neurodivergence. Usually, it’s common in those with autism. But typically, arfid isn’t linked to a desire to lose weight
@krunkkillsteens It is possible, even if the chances are low. There could be that one person whose body just can’t handle it. Unlikely, but not impossible. However, the likelihood of cardiac arrest just increases the more you purge
@qyunanie @skinnierdaily I feel like there is too much to say about this, so I’d recommend looking it up and doing some research on your own. SE-AN is very complex, just like every other eating disorder. But it is different, and people struggle to realize that with Eugenia
@skinnierdaily SEAN stands for severe enduring anorexia nervosa for anyone who doesn’t know, which is what Eugenia has. It’s different than typical anorexia nervosa
@skinnierdaily she’s been disordered so long that she is well aware of her body’s own limits and how to keep herself alive. Shes smarter than people think. Also, she’s still young. Most SEAN suffers are able to survive until their mid 30s or even longer, but their suffering is terrible.
