Once you realize that anything can happen; sickness, death, lose your job... Literally, anything in the blink of an eye, you become very humble. Tables turn and that's how crazy life can get.
Always stay humble, and be grateful.
If a random stranger especially an old person starts talking to you in the supermarket or elsewhere please be patient because you may be the only one this person has spoken to for days, weeks or even a month. Be kind because you never know one day that this person might be you, not by choice but by circumstance. ❤️
Old people can be lonely people.

hot take: i actually appreciate when people share how they relate to my situation. i don’t see it as stealing the spotlight or one-upping me. i see it as someone trying to connect. to help in the only way they know how, through shared experience and vulnerability. that’s how community is built
Honestly, I want to be outside next year, and I don’t mean clubs and parties. I mean travelling, hiking, picnics, trying new restaurants, stuff like that.
