January can be a LITERAL hellscape for anyone with a chronic condition navigating their health insurance coverage. Every year. No continuity of care, constant contradictory info, lack of transparency, etc. And I work in healthcare! I'm "health literate"! Make it make sense!! ๐ซ
I'm begging you, Instagram, stop pushing butter boards to my FYP. Ya girl loves hosting and cooking, but I'm completely uninterested in consuming butter in this fashion. I think it's weird. Buy a butter dish and leave me the hell alone on this hill.
Absolutely crazy to me what health insurance is legally capable of doing in the name of "cost savings" - def not for you, the patient, for them. Dictating what treatments you have, how much, and when. Out here acting like they have MD/DO after their names lol.
If politicians' angle was, oh idk-fixing our broken adoption/foster care system, bolstering programs that actually help families & mothers get established, implementing & promoting LARC programs, etc-maybe I'd bite. It is ALWAYS about power, division and oppressing people.
Jhene said โI used to think I was introverted because I really liked being alone but it turns out that I just like my peace, and I am very extroverted around people who bring me peace.โ and I felt every word.
I love how pleasantly surprised I am every time another good song comes on when I listen to my Spotify "On Repeat" playlist. Like of course you love all these songs, dumbass.
this makes me SO incredibly proud to have studied Public Health under Dr. Acton and to have worked with so many amazing people at ODH. I have no doubts that Ohio is in good hands ๐
This is a Dr. Amy Acton appreciation post. She's smart, calm, cool, and collected. We're so lucky to have her as we combat the #COVID19 outbreak. #COVID19OhioReady#DrAmy#DrAmyActon
