Serving Alaskans with ALS as a Care Services Manager. Spend the majority of my time on mountains and in meetings. Let’s make the world a better place together!
@CapitalOne where is my money?! I was supposed to be paid Wednesday. This not only affects my life, but also my credit. My bills are on auto draft. I won’t be banking with you unless this is remedied in a big way!
I am in complete agreement with the Judicial Conference of the United States and their recommendation that former U.S. District Judge Josh Kindred be considered for impeachment. If convicted, Mr. Kindred could be disqualified from holding future office. I am also aware that there is an ongoing investigation at the Office of Professional Responsibility at the Department of Justice related to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Anchorage that I hope moves forward quickly, and I look forward to seeing its results. We must send a message that there is zero tolerance for this reprehensible behavior in our judicial system or any workplace in this country.

Grateful that sb91 is going to be law in September. This will completely change the way people with terminal illnesses navigate their disease. I am hopeful we can find more ways to help people with terminal illnesses in alaska.
Always wear a helmet. July 1 I crashed my mountain bike with a helmet on, and still walked away with a gnarly concussion and a broken collarbone. About 1 in every 5 reported injuries in Alaska included a brain injury in a study from 2012-2016.
If the public knew what I know, more people would be as sad and angry as I am about what damage is being done to the Muni.
It's all just political contortions away from 2 simple facts:
1. Good leaders are accountable for their actions & fix mistakes.
2. Bad leaders lose staff.
I urge @rep_peltola to support #ALSVeterans and their families by cosponsoring and passing the Justice for ALS Veterans Act (H.R.3790/S.1590) https://t.co/ywgsZHDVbA #ALSAdvocacy

@alaskascott@mattclaman Thank you for all of the work you are doing in Alaska, and for your time this week. I know everyone was really busy with the capital budget! Alaskans with ALS have been overlooked for a really long time and I’m so grateful that your office is shining a light on this disease.
Had a great time in Juneau speaking with legislators about SB91&SB256. @alaskascott sponsored sb256, which would make May als awareness month in Alaska. @mattclaman sponsored sb91, which would have a huge impact on people with ALS who are seen at multidisciplinary clinics.
Alaska is 1/2 states to not have a multidisciplinary clinic. The other state is Wyoming. Because of the debilitating effects of als, most people I work with can no longer attend clinics after they can no longer travel due to the disease. This has horrible impacts on care.
