@GongGasGirl Looked after a baby with obstructing membranes in its trachea post RSV/Influenza this week. Was rushed down from the ward to theatre. Spontaneous ventilation and optiflow was our friend. 😵‍💫

@lotusgav Yes, few times and most recently last year for facial reconstructive surgery. Need to cut end of reinforced ETT off as glued and use normal ETT connector in its place. Requires good plan and communication with surgical team, and is a great airway solution for the right patients
