One of my favorite things about Mikel Brown Jr.’s game is how instantly he can put pressure on the rim.
His blend of burst, long strides, and effortless athleticism allows him to eat up ground in a hurry, transforming even the smallest advantage into a path to the basket.
The moment he snakes around a screen or stuns a defender with a crossover, it feels like the runway is already cleared. And once he’s there, his bounce, body control, and creativity allow him to finish in ways most guards simply can’t.
Few players in this class get from point A to point B with this kind of speed, fluidity, and finishing flair.

🚨2026 #nbadraft Big Board 4.0 (Top 30)🚨
Each color represents tier. DP and Boozer remained top 2 all season long and MBJ broke through the top 3 passing AJ and Wilson. JQ went last in his tier due to recent intel.
The complete board will be released in next few days 👀
What unfolds on Tuesday at Nos. 5 and 6 holds great intrigue around the NBA. Mikel Brown Jr. has already visited the Nets. Both he and Keaton Wagler, sources say, have canceled visits with the Kings at No. 7.
I’m told Wagler could still meet with Brooklyn brass between now and Draft night. The Nets, Knicks and Sixers have always had added advantage for last-minute workouts due to their proximity to the actual event in New York City.

Ebuka Okorie has electric tape…
6’2, 6’7 wing, 186lbs. Arguably the best handle in the draft. Nasty bag, self-generated 80%+ of FGM, gets to the rack, draws fouls, & strong ball security.
Questions about size and off-ball game aside, he’s a baller.
Sonia Citron notched the first 15/5/5/5 game across the league this season.
It is also the first 15/5/5/5 game in Washington Mystics history in a regulation win.
Keaton Wagler and Mikel Brown Jr. have cancelled their workouts with the Sacramento Kings and the sense is that both will be drafted “in some order” with the No. 5 and No. 6 picks, per @JakeLFischer.
