@BrooklandsCllr @OneTrafford I have now been told the markings are not from Amey / One Trafford who would have drawn continuous lines. They say likely to have been dome by residents. Nevertheless following my notice that contrast H&S KPIs had been breached work would be done Jan/early Feb 2023

@BrooklandsCllr @MoorNookPark @TraffordLabour Plus it must be said that between us Rachel and I, along with some help from our 'Friends', have continuously pestered the life out of Trafford to get the MUGA at Moor Nook totally resurfaced. Works are now complete with new tennis and basketball nets. More perseverance Result 😃

@BrooklandsCllr @MoorNookPark @TraffordLabour There is always more to be done than for which there are funds. That Brooklands has in the current year over 25% of the parks capital spend is testament at least in part to my perseverance. I hope that the replacement equipment at Moor Nook will be installed this year as promised

@BrooklandsCllr @OneTrafford In fact the schedule went to Cllrs indicating that Brooklands 1st collection would be 11-14th Nov when there would still be many leaves to fall and again 26-29th Dec. The programme ran a month behind so the 2nd collection cancelled with only requested 2nd collections being made

@BrooklandsCllr Was delighted the work had almost been completed when I called before Christmas. I've been lobbying for this refurbishment since my grandson was 5. He is now 13 ! In fact in last February's Council meeting I stated that the commitment to carry this out in 2021 had not been met

@BrooklandsCllr Visit to a resident led to direct communication on 7th Sept to Amey with photo+measurement evidence that criteria in Highways Policy for immediate repair now met. Assurance rec'd that action would happen. White line marking looked positive but no repair yet so today reminded them
