All of the work we do at BKBW would not be possible without our supportive team. Our staff, volunteers, board, and supporters help us reach and touch the lives of students every day, and we're extremely grateful for their contributions.
As National Non-Profit Day gets closer, we want all of you to be informed on all of the great ways you can support non-profits throughout the day! Here's a list of a few of the things you can do to help aid our non-profit communities:

During the school year we get to work in collaboration with our students to help them build their boats, and during the summer our alumni and program youth get to sail them! Through every season our program participants get to show appreciation to each otherβs work!
We just wanted to give some more shoutouts to our community and our trailblazer youth for always showing up and showing out and being creative and innovative, and to wish a Happy Birthday to one of our trailblazer sailors, Jordin !
Our Trailblazers are always surprising us with their creative work! Through collaboration they coordinate group flag designs and come up with ideas that are uniquely their own.
Thanks to our community who came out for this past weekend's Community Sail Day! If you missed out this time we'll be having another Community Sail this Friday, July 22nd, so mark your calendars and prepare for a day of fun!
Join us today for City of Water Day at NY Harbor starting at 9:00 AM. We'll be running programming and would love to see our alumni and youth participants! Read more about the events here: https://t.co/19rWtumgjZ
Just another Instructor Training update for this month! As our students progress in their boat build so do our instructors, and they get to bring all of their new build skills into their classrooms!
#FBF to 2019 @HarborHeights BKBW students choosing their boat name! We can't wait to hear all the new names 21-22 BKBW students come up with at the Boat Launch in June!
At @MS442 and all of our schools the students pay just as much attention to detail as our instructors-- that's what makes our builds so creative and well done!
Instructor Training update! Our instructors practice their leveling and straight edge skills so they can adequately measure all pieces of our build for proper placement!
On this #FBF, we're showcasing one of our 2017 Dory Builds. BKBW students of 2021-2022 are progressing quickly in their Opti builds and are almost at this stage!
