Politics and religion shape many of our beliefs, but they shouldn’t divide us. I can support a leader and still speak up when I disagree. That’s democracy. We don’t have to agree on everything to work together for the common good. Build bridges. Tear down fences.

I came back to NYC not knowing where I’d end up, but I had faith God was in the midst. Now I’m moving into a brand-new apartment and seeing hope rise for working New Yorkers. I support our mayor and pray God blesses him, his family, and his administration. 🙏🏽🗽❤️

Beauty for Ashes uses music, art, lived experience & community to help people process pain, build healthy outlets, and reconnect before crisis. It can complement treatment, not replace it.

@meghan_daum @bstettin @slsatel You can mandate treatment, but you can’t mandate someone’s desire to heal. We need pathways that create that desire. Beauty for Ashes could complement the system by using music, art, lived experience and community to help people process what’s underneath the addiction and trauma.
