Five people stabbed at Penn Station.
Public safety isn't optional. As Attorney General, I will make transit safety a priority and use every tool available to keep New Yorkers safe.
I’m running for Attorney General because we need a prosecutor in charge, focused on New York and focused on safety. I hope you’ll join our campaign, because if New York isn’t safe, nothing else matters.
Trump says Stephen A. Smith is a nice guy, but doesn’t have the aptitude or IQ to be President.
Maybe I’m missing something…
How many people build a multi-million dollar brand?
How many people become the face of an entire industry?
How many people stay relevant for decades?
When Stephen A. talks sports, nobody questions his intelligence.
The second he talks politics, suddenly he lacks aptitude?
Why?
At what point do accomplishments start counting?
You don’t have to agree with Stephen A. Smith.
But dismissing everything he’s built because he entered the political conversation raises a bigger question:
Who gets to decide who’s qualified to speak on politics?

A man got on a bus. Got into an argument. And never made it home.
According to police, Jonathan Pettigrew was fatally shot after telling someone to stop yelling on a cellphone.
Not over money. Not over drugs. Not over a gang dispute.
A cellphone argument.
We can keep having the same conversation after every shooting, or we can start talking about solutions.
If New York is serious about getting illegal guns off the street, then a $250 gift card isn’t enough.
We need real incentives:
🎓 College grants
📚 Trade school scholarships
📝 Civil service exam credits
💼 Job training opportunities
🏠 Pathways to housing and employment
Because every illegal gun turned in is potentially a life saved.
The question is simple:
How many more people have to die before we try something bigger?
👇 What incentive would make someone actually give up an illegal gun?

For decades, East Harlem has been waiting for the Second Avenue Subway. Now, we're delivering it.
Yesterday, we officially broke ground on the launch site for the tunnel boring machines that will bring the Q train all the way to 125 St. It's a major milestone for Phase 2—and a clear sign that the project is moving ahead.
We're applying lessons learned from Phase 1 to build it better, faster and cheaper. We've already identified $1.3 billion in savings, in part by adapting and reusing abandoned tunnels that have sat beneath Second Avenue for more than 50 years.
