UPDATE 6/2/26 - The roadway will be reopened to automobile traffic on or before Wednesday, June 3. Sidewalk and shoulder will remain closed for repairs later this week which may require single-lane closure with flaggers guiding alternating traffic.

The Broomfield Police Department is assisting @NMFirePIO with a gas leak at a business in the 300 block of Nickel Street in Broomfield. Surrounding businesses have been evacuated along with three apartment buildings to the east of the business. Nickel is currently closed in both directions between Midway Boulevard and Hwy 287.
