China's academic espionage isn't a one-off problem, it’s a sustained CCP strategy to steal American research and technology.
The cases keep piling up while our universities look the other way.
My Espionage Protection Act would help secure American campuses from China.

What does it mean when a regime turns human beings into inventory and kills people to order?
This is not just about an isolated crime, but about an entire machine of mass dehumanization and mass killing.
In China, organ procurement functions as the exact reverse of an ethical transplantation system.
In any ethical system, vital organs typically come from catastrophic accidents. To reduce the chance of rejection, blood type and histology are also matched. Supply is far less than demand.
When an accident happens and a possible donor appears, there are many possible recipients waiting. Thousands will die waiting.
But in China, we see the reverse. Wait times are often measured not in years, or months—but in weeks or even days. Heart transplants are scheduled.
And innocent people—already blood-typed and tissue-typed in a database—are killed to order to supply these organs.
I was honored to testify in Taiwan's parliament today, where lawmakers from multiple parties are pushing an Act on Combating and Preventing Forced Organ Harvesting, with tougher penalties, reporting protections, and tighter controls on overseas transplants.
And just this month, Taiwan’s health ministry revoked a doctor’s license for illegally brokering transplants to China — sending a clear signal that abuse has consequences, and the first such case in Taiwan.
This week, Chairman @RepMoolenaar and @RepStefanik sent a letter to @SecWar to tighten the screws on Chinese military companies, calling on @DeptofWar to strictly enforce a restriction against U.S. defense contractors working with firms that are lobbying for companies designated on the Pentagon's updated 1260H list.
Our defense industrial base exists to protect and advance America’s national security and interests. The message to lobbyists should be clear: if you choose to represent a Chinese military company, you have no place in our nation’s defense ecosystem.
Apparently #China defines “peace” differently from the rest of the world. When we say peace, we mean no use of force or threat of it. But for the #PRC, it means active threats & bullying others.
Say one thing, do the opposite. That’s the #CCP.
Communist China wants to destroy our way of life. American companies have no business selling out our national security by partnering with CCP tech companies like this.
I have a bill to blacklist companies like DeepSeek and BLOCK them from threatening our prosperity and safety.
The Senate should pass it RIGHT AWAY before any deal like this takes place.
Yesterday was the birthday of Xi Jinping — genocidal dictator of Communist China.
Xi pushes a particular brand of evil, brazenly attempting to destroy Western civilization and harming his own citizens in his mission for power and control.
So today, the Senate marked his birthday by passing my resolution condemning his numerous abuses and atrocities. We should treat Xi like the tyrant he is.
U.S. scholar U Min Zin went to China for a conference. He is now detained. The PRC unjustly detains more Americans than any other country, a reality that puts U.S. citizens at risk and chills academic and business exchanges. @USAmbChina should demand full transparency and access. https://t.co/KlYZDwBOR1
CCP using old tricks in attempt to cancel @SafeguardDefend upcoming debate on growing risks for foreign nationals in China.
Yet, as the recent wrongful detention of US scholar Min Zin sadly demonstrates, we need more, not less, public awareness of these risks.

A varoval spojence.

This chronicle of #PRC expansionism along the #1stIslandChain offers a historical perspective on what #Taiwan has faced recently. #China keeps pushing ahead, with no effective pushback yet, & it won't stop here. Democracies must wake up to this reality.
The Iranian regime will lose the zero-sum game it is playing.
Any damage it inflicts on our allies in the Gulf will be paid for with funds extracted from Iranian Accounts.
Any tolls paid to the Persian Gulf Strait Authority will be offset by funds extracted from their accounts.
Every attack Iran launches will only deepen the economic and financial consequences it faces.
CASE UPDATE from @FBINorfolk and @FBIWFO: Justice Department, FBI Disable 13 Websites Backed by Suspected Chinese Agents That Sought Sensitive U.S. Information from Security Clearance Holders
Beginning in November 2023, the conspirators created at least 13 fake consulting company websites advertising generic “consulting” jobs and including statements indicating their purpose was to recruit current or former U.S. government and U.S. military employees to provide expertise to unspecified clients. The scheme used contracts and confidentiality agreements to give their bogus consulting companies an air of legitimacy.

Hilarious! Does China remember being OVERWHELMINGLY RULED AGAINST BY THE TRIBUNAL IN THE HAGUE IN 2016?!
In the 2016 South China Sea arbitration case brought by the Philippines against China under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The tribunal, sitting in The Hague under the auspices of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, ruled OVERWHELMINGLY against China’s legal position on several maritime claims. It found, among other things, that:
China’s “nine-dash line” claim had NO LEGAL BASIS under UNCLOS.
China had violated certain Philippine sovereign rights within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Some Chinese activities, including island-building and interference with Philippine activities, were ILLEGAL. @MFA_China 🇺🇸
There are two key pillars behind the Chinese Communist Party’s murder-for-organs industry.
First: dehumanization. Using language reminiscent of Nazi Germany propaganda, the CCP brainwashed the Chinese population into believing Falun Gong practitioners are dangerous and less than human. And now they’re using the same playbook against the Uyghurs.
Second: a massive, incarcerated population. By 2005, the U.S. State Department estimated that half of all people in China’s Reeducation Through Labor camp system were Falun Gong practitioners.
From there, the machinery took shape.
They started blood typing, tissue typing, and organ typing these people and all their vitals—turning them into a living database of “donors.”
And that’s how the CCP were able to build a system that’s the exact reverse of an ethical system.
In the rest of the world, patients wait—hoping for a match.
In China, a match triggers an execution.
When a wealthy buyer or party official needs an organ, a prisoner is killed on demand.
We’ve known about it for 20 years. And we’ve mostly turned a blind eye.
I was honored to be invited to speak about my new book “Killed to Order” at the Women’s National Republican Club in New York City.
Together let’s end this atrocity.
Two Chinese international students claiming to be casual tourists just got hit with espionage convictions after running a year-long drone surveillance operation over a nuclear-powered U.S. aircraft carrier. In a landmark legal move against foreign intelligence threats, the primary operator was sentenced to 18 months in prison for actively benefiting the enemy.
Operating under the cover of academic study, the duo executed at least nine illegal aerial filming sessions targeting a major naval command. The operation culminated in a high-stakes security breach when they flew a commercial drone over the 100,000-ton USS Theodore Roosevelt right as the sitting South Korean president arrived to inspect the warship during sensitive joint military drills.
Investigators ultimately seized nearly 12 gigabytes of restricted data, including hundreds of photos and videos of the classified base. The primary suspect had direct contacts linked to Chinese police on his phone and repeatedly shared the footage over messaging apps. Because the Chinese-made drone app automatically synced all captured media straight to servers based in China, the operation effectively handed Beijing a backdoor look into allied frontline maritime defenses.

Recent reports show that Communist China is attempting to influence our policy and public opinion on data centers. The reason is obvious: they want to kneecap our processing power to win the AI race.
Americans should decide their own future free of communist propaganda. I'm encouraging @TheJusticeDept to investigate. https://t.co/dL7dJwFrIr
#China’s Hai Xun & CG vessels are harassing commercial ships in #Taiwan’s EEZ to fabricate a facade of #PRC jurisdiction. This expansionism is a major escalation of regional tension. We call on all commercial vessels in the area to ignore #CCG radio calls.
