I just read that women in their 40’s are just becoming who they were when they were 16 except this time they love her. And I cannot stop thinking about this.

I think the hardest part of the current political climate is realizing how many people are actually just evil. Not misinformed or uneducated... just openly and happily enjoying other people's suffering.
it’s crazy that 95% of people just want a nice normal life on our beautiful, already abundant planet where they can have their basic needs met and cute experiences with their loved ones and then we have these 5% of evil, narcissistic goons at the top fucking it up for all of us
I think it’s too bad that we treat the act of “apologizing” like some kind of degrading humiliation ritual. I actually think apologizing can be ego-serving in a positive way. Like, “This doesn’t fit my internal standards for who I am, I expect better from myself” kind of thing.
I actually don't want to climb any corporate ladders. I don't care about job titles. I don't need accolades.
I just want to have income to fund my lifestyle, not be depressed, help other people, and be around good humans.
Basically any institution you are part of in your life, be it social or professional, will actively punish you for having moral clarity or epistemic honesty, but it is deeply important you maintain them regardless.
