Letting children feel comfortable and be educated about the lgbtq community (and the fact that they may be apart of it) is not grooming, it’s literally just basic acceptance.

@HeatherWeaverDC Having a dog who has a hard time trusting other dogs due to a lifetime of abuse before we adopted her, it drives me INSANE when I can’t just take her for a peaceful walk because some bonehead’s dog is off the leash and decides to approach her. Dog parks exist for a reason people.

It just goes to show she really doesn’t know either of us. Especially her own damn son. We have made it perfectly clear that we aren’t big fancy wedding people and we just want it to be laid back and fun. But apparently that’s not good enough- because it’s all about her 🤷‍♀️

Jake and I are planning a very low key, non traditional wedding. For example, we decided on just doing pizza for the rehearsal to keep things easy. If my *ever so lovely* future MIL criticizes our choices because it’s not “fancy enough” one more time I am going to lose my cool 😅
