@HamDawg115 I’m still in on Schumann, at least for another season, but Bobo continues to fumble on the biggest stages. He did it in ‘07-‘14, and he’s continuing to do it now. Doesn’t do well with leads in big games.

He’s good, but not great. And it’s not spoiled to demand greatness.

@CoachHayesHudl Idk if that’s a Gunner thing, moreso a coaching thing. With Bobo being OC/QB coach, I have a feeling that once we had a lead he was too conservative. We have many years of history of that.

That’s my biggest issue with Bobo, he takes his foot off the gas when we’re up.

Monken was OC for Stet. Bobo is OC for Gunner. Are we not sure it is just that the OC trusted Stet/was more ambitious in big games? Cause that seems more likely.

Stetson didn’t seem like he was on Kirby’s bad side much at all.

@Mad_Dawg19 Bobo can go. Good but not great. For some reason just fumbles playcalling when the lights are brightest, and has done so since his first stint.

Schumann could’ve gone when Muschamp was right there for the taking. But much higher chance he’ll improve v Bobo.

It’s ignorant to think we couldn’t get better by another avenue than recruiting. We did it with WRs this year and that panned out damn well for us.

Could also do with some coordinator shakeup but that’s another topic.

The four remaining teams, no one has a higher than 57.5% recruited starters(Oregon).

We are great at recruiting, but this day and age that should be at least 75/25. We need to get better at scouting collegiate talent.

But his ability to remain elite will go the way of Dabo if he refuses to start adapting to the NIL/transfer portal era.

Kirby has the exact same access to “25 year olds” that Cig has.

@gxrrettgsn We lacked offensive aggression til it was too late. Went back to mid-season form in terms of organizing a coherent pass rush. This was moreso a coaching problem than personnel on offense, and both for defense.

Would love to see some shake up on the staff before we slump.
