@vanillaopinions The Killer is strange. I know it’s not a 9/10 but I’ve watched it 5 times since it came out. Keep getting pulled back into it. Margin Call and Tenet do this also
@WordsofMagick@AI_EmeraldApple Proving your point would mean I was fanatically invested in seeing the film fail. I am not. It’s simply a sub par film that is being buoyed up by an industry that has invested too much money to see it fail.
@ClarksonsFarm1 I'm coming out the socket
Nothing you can do can stop it
I'm on your lap and in your pocket
How you gonna shoot me down when I guide the rocket?
@MacIntoshEDU@WordsofMagick@AI_EmeraldApple Well it did a little bit as you spoke about defining my personality via a culture war. I spoke about the quality of the film and not about anything political. And your line about ridiculous scenarios also made no sense.
@DWLundberg It’s the first time I ever took my phone out in the cinema as it was so eye rolling shite. Banes comedy voice. The slow hit fight sequence. Catwomans crowbarring into the plot. The trapped in a pit sequence. Nolan felt like just a name attatched to it.
@heatherellaxo I’m not mad about her being in it. She was really cute in Inception. I’m just a little ticked off that the word masterpiece is being thrown about when it’s a 3/10 film with zero rewatchability
@WordsofMagick@AI_EmeraldApple This is incredibly simple. It is a very flat low mid tier film and one of Nolan’s worst films. However we are being told that is not the case. That it is a masterpiece. The disconnect is what is causing the problem. Like OBAA last year.
@Whateverest4@Certinfy Do you think that’s what boring means? That you need a candy shop array of spandex tards to entertain? No. Make better films. Stop making dull shite and then trying to pass them off as masterpieces. Poor pacing, poor script, weak payoffs mean that your movie is poor.
