Our savagery and brutality drove the Indians out of the Wild West. Nobody in the world could match our violence in WW2.

We nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And at the height of our power, rather than choosing to build a pile of skulls like Genghis Khan or the Assyrians, rather than building a temple of torture and human sacrifice like the Aztecs, rather than burning cities and salting them to the Earth like Rome did to Carthage, we Americans chose to build a world of peace. Our ancestors rebuilt Europe and Japan from the ruins of WW2, when we could've enslaved and destroyed them. Our navy protects the world's trade routes and shipping lanes, stupidly, because we don't tax them and we deindustrialized the American heartland in the name of "free trade" and global labor arbitrage. Our military protects the entire world, for free, so that global cosmopolitan elites can skim a percentage of the cash flow as wealth bleeds out of America.

We chose, out of pure generosity (and stupidity) to send trillions of dollars of aid to the mud huts of Africa suffering famine and disease. We helped China, out of pure generosity (and stupidity) climb from starving peasant farmers to an industrial superpower. We chose to give freedom to the world, even if it was a stupid and untenable freedom built on naive delusional lies and a misunderstanding of human nature as self-organizing individuals seeking personal liberty, granted to backwards resentful countries incapable of self-government.

The Third World has completely spit in our face. We treated them as equals when they were impoverished and had nothing. We built their electrical power grids and connected them to the Internet and we gave them airports and planes to travel to America. We treated them as equals, and they treated us as fools. Every act of kindness we did has been punished and betrayed. We helped them, and they robbed us, and they hated us because our own power and wealth shamed them by contrast.

No, foreigners getting high test scores on an exam (or cheating) doesn't qualify them to be an American.

High test scores don't give Third World barbarians the right to plunder America, displace hardworking young white men, and take our country from us.

America being “an idea” maybe worked like 20 years ago, but the thing about ideas is that they can be implemented.

75% of the world has internet access. But more importantly, all the people who make the decisions in the world, including in its poorest countries, have Internet access.

“How” to build our buildings, manage our economies, create our music and movies, etc. is all basically globally available information. Nothing is stopping the world from downloading our “idea.”

Perhaps I am not the wisest man. But if I were in charge on 9/11 these would have been my orders:

1. We change nothing that we do not have to. Our way of life remains intact. We will not sacrifice our liberties in at the altar of fear.

2. We kill everyone involved, everyone they love, and everyone they are related to. If that means dropping a nuke on Mecca, so be it. If I go down in history as a genocidal maniac, then so be it. But there will be glass across the Middle East, from Kabul to Riyadh, and if we take out a few million innocents in the process, that is on Bin Laden, not on us. We will retaliate with indiscriminate anger. Our response will be horrifyingly disproportionate. The souls that perished at Hiroshima will be horrified by what we are about to do.

3. The towers will be rebuilt, just taller. I will not have the skyline of NY changed.
