Beyond the Jersey🤘

This week’s student-athlete highlight features Kaci Adkins.

Kaci is a Communication Studies major from Proctorville, Ohio, entering her senior year as a member of the Marshall cheerleading team. Throughout her time at Marshall, she has taken pride in balancing athletics and academics while earning both Dean’s List and President’s List honors.

Last year, Kaci was named an NCA All-American at camp, a recognition that highlights her dedication and hard work within the sport. Alongside training for Nationals in Daytona each April, Marshall Cheer supports multiple Thundering Herd athletic programs throughout the year, including football, volleyball, and both men’s and women’s basketball. The team also participates in various community service activities.

“I want to thank Big Green donors for supporting student-athletes like me and my teammates and for helping provide opportunities for us to succeed both academically and athletically. Your support truly makes a difference in our college experience.”
