Just a quick update. I have replied to the FRCC preliminary report and they have confirmed receipt. I have pushed back on several parts of her report that are letting FCA and Treasury Ministers off the hook. I would expect the final report to be available within the next 3 weeks
pressure on the relevant Minister. I also have a Lawyer to run things past too. Progress is slow at the moment but the information being received is useful.
I received the draft report from the FRCC yesterday evening which is still confidential. An initially disappointing response, which I understood, is suddenly really useful politically when I ran it through AI. The timing is good with 2 MPs actively supporting and putting...
Nothing Ministers like @lisanandy & @fionatwycross more than "lessons learned" here is that document regarding #footballindex stating that salary constraints made recruiting forensic accountants difficult.
applicable. 4) Some further FOIs outstanding (nearing the end of this now) 5) Wrote to Treasury Select Committee with full evidence of FCA "issues" and a couple of other avenues which I hope to share further news on. Loads going on as always just progress is always slow!
An update on what I am working on regarding #footballindex - 1) liaising with Begbies on a couple of issues including emails yesterday. 2) working with 2xMPs on questions for Lucy Rigby to answer. 3) Updating both Parliamentary Ombudsman and FRCC with new relevant info when...
Usual @TheFCA claim rubbish in Paragraph 1 but the highlighted in Paragraph 2 and 3 are very interesting and very useful respectively. Thanks @johnmcdonnellMP for asking the question!
Amazing how everyone else gets compensated for public sector incompetence @lisanandy@fionatwycross except for #footballindex you carry on burying your heads in the sand!
The Sheehan Report into #footballindex confirmed that FCA raised that sports spread betting is within the FCA's perimeter. This was completed in July or August 2021.
Here is @lisanandy talking about the "major global scandal of administration of Wigan in 2020. At least you got your football club back. #footballindex victims likely to get nothing! retweets welcome!!

@lisanandy continues to say "I am at a complete loss as to how the new ownership model could have been approved by the EFL. There must be a full inquiry" which is funny coz you are pretty quiet about #footballindex" and we are at a loss how it was approved by @GamRegGB
@lisanandy also met with the administrators, Begbies, a firm #footballindex victims know well who are £3m richer as a result of the liquidation of £124m. Why don't you meet them again and ask how much victims are getting back?

Well Well @lisanandy complaining about Begbies fees regarding the administration of Wigan. Wait until we meet and I provide an update on how much victims are going to get back from #footballindex - the answer is not much if anything!
