Basically, they’re telling you they know where the galamsey sites are. They know our rivers are being destroyed. They know what is happening. They just need more time to “figure things out.”

Your father can work his whole life, pay taxes for decades, then fall sick one night.

That is when Ghana can introduce itself properly.

No bed.

No specialist nearby.

Family running around looking for blood.

Someone asking for money before something can be done.

After everything he contributed to this country, his family may still have to beg for the basics.

Then a politician gets sick and suddenly treatment abroad is an option.

Tell me why that should not hurt you.

They say Twitter is where the educated Ghanaians are. Sometimes I read the politics here and I get scared for Ghana.

Look at us.

You say the road is bad.
They ask which party you support.

You say people need jobs.
They search your old tweets.

You say the water is dirty.
They tell you the other party was worse.

You question the President.
People who have never met him start fighting you like you insulted their father.

Meanwhile, we’re all suffering from the same things.

So what exactly did education teach us if somebody can simply show us party colours and make us forget our own suffering? Ei

In the Auditor-General’s 2023 report, auditors checked a sanitation contract in East Gonja.

The agreement said the company should provide 20 rubbish containers.

Auditors found 15.

The agreement said 3 rubbish trucks.

Only 2 had been provided, and just 1 was working when auditors checked.

Meanwhile, residents were still dealing with heaps of rubbish around overflowing containers.

The Auditor-General even recommended that money paid for services that were not provided should be recovered after verification.

Forget the big grammar.

We agreed to pay for 20. We got 15.

We agreed to pay for 3 trucks. We got 2. Only 1 was working.

The people still got rubbish.

This is how Ghana can spend money on solving a problem and the Ghanaian can still be living inside the problem.

The contract says one thing.

The ground says another. Something is wrong o

Our leaders are in New York right now.

They will turn on the tap and water will flow. They will drive on good roads. Traffic lights will work. The streets will be clean. They will use toilets with running water. They will see basic things working without anybody throwing a party.

So when they come back to Ghana, please remember that they have seen what a country can provide for its people.

In fact, they travel too much to say they don’t know.

The bigger problem is us.

After 69 years, we have become so used to struggling that when government gives us something basic, we behave like we have received a gift.

A road is fixed, we clap.

Streetlights come on, we praise somebody.

A community gets water and we say the politician has “done well.”

But whose money paid for it? Ours.

And while we keep celebrating the little things, years of our lives are passing. Our parents are growing old in this system. Our children are being born into it too.

Ghanaian, these things are not luxuries.

You deserve water. You deserve good roads. You deserve working hospitals and decent schools.

Your leaders experience these things when they travel.

You deserve them at home too.

Ghana Must Work. 🇬🇭

First they tried to discredit me. That didn’t work.

Then I was NPP. That one too collapsed.

Now I’m apparently the entire Ghana Must Work team. Ei. 😂

At some point you have to notice the pattern.

Anything except the actual conversation.

Why are Ghanaians still struggling for basic things after 69 years?

Forget me for a second. This should concern YOU.

What terrible thing am I asking for?

That your mother shouldn’t suffer at the hospital?

That your child should have a toilet at school?

That you should have water when you open your tap?

That after working hard and paying taxes, you should actually feel your country working for you?

If saying these things makes someone a problem, then chale, pay attention.

Today they can make the conversation about Nana B because Nana B is the one talking.

Tomorrow Ghana will happen to you.

Your road. Your business. Your hospital bill. Your child’s school. Your water. Your job.

You’ll complain too.

Imagine being told to shut up by the same system you spent years defending.

That is why this is bigger than me.

A country where citizens are easier to fight than the problems they complain about is a country teaching its people to accept less.

Please don’t learn that lesson.

About 200 girls at Sagnarigu Model Girls JHS had to petition their Assembly in June because their school had no reliable water supply and inadequate sanitation.

Read that again.

Children had to write a petition to adults asking for WATER.

Meanwhile, the adults are online arguing about whether NPP or NDC failed them first.

The girls are asking for water.

We are giving them politics.

WHY??????! Ah!

Look at your little brother, your little sister, your child.

They didn’t create this mess. They don’t know NPP or NDC. They owe no politician loyalty.

So why should our excuses become their inheritance?

Maybe we cannot fix everything in our lifetime.

Imagine them growing up and fighting the same problems we are fighting today.

That would mean we didn’t just inherit a broken system.

We handed it over.

Our generation must do better. Ghana Must Work. 🇬🇭

Ghana spent GH¢233.8 BILLION in 2025.

For every GHC 1 government spent, only about 9 pesewas went into building things like roads, schools, hospitals and other projects.

About 91 pesewas went elsewhere.

Then we wake up every day and wonder why the same bad roads, broken schools and struggling hospitals are still there. Instead of holding them accountable you’re online mad at Nana B. Ahhhhhhjjhhh

Accra has been flooding since the 1930s.

Almost 100 years.

Different governments. Different mayors. Billions spent. Committees formed. Promises made.

Yet in 2026, a few hours of rain can still bring the capital to its knees.

At what point do we stop calling this a flooding problem and start calling it a failure of leadership? Why are we like this?

This is where government communication needs to improve.

Don’t just tell us the President met important people. Tell us why the meeting matters to the ordinary Ghanaian.

What did Ghana ask for? What did they agree on? What could Ghana gain? Jobs? Investment? Education? Technology? And what happens next?

A meeting is not an achievement by itself. Explain what the meeting is supposed to achieve for the people.

That is the information Ghanaians need.

Ghana earned $31.25 BILLION from exports in 2025. Gold alone was almost $21 BILLION. We are not looking at a country with no economic activity. We are looking at citizens who have become so used to little that a politician fixing one road can arrive to drums and dancing. Something is wrong with all of us! SHAME ON US!
