Men’s Mental Health Day 12
We talk about depression.
We talk about suicide.
We don’t talk enough about loneliness.
Many men have friends they joke with, work with, game with, watch sports with, or see every day. Yet many still feel completely alone.
Because loneliness isn’t always a lack of people.
Sometimes it’s carrying stress, grief, fear, heartbreak, financial pressure, trauma, and self-doubt while feeling like there’s no one you can truly be honest with.
Many men have been taught to stay strong, push through, and handle it themselves. So they suffer quietly.
Not because they don’t need support.
Because they’ve learned not to ask for it.
Check on the men in your life.
Not just the ones who seem to be struggling.
Check on the friend who always makes everyone laugh.
The one who’s always helping others.
The one who’s always online gaming.
The one who never misses work.
The one who says, “I’m good,” every single time.
Sometimes the strongest-looking men are carrying the heaviest burdens.
And sometimes the loudest cry for help is silence. 💙
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
JJ Redick was DISGUSTED with Deandre Ayton after giving up multiple offensive rebounds and fouling.
JJ: "I can't play him" 😭💀
Ayton proceeds to give up ANOTHER offensive rebound and commits ANOTHER foul.
Announcers: “Ayton’s just standing there” 😩
