Way too early wishlist
- Bring Kelce back for 1 more year
- Cut Bradberry, and hopefully develop Kelee Ringo
- Draft a RB, don't pay Swift
- Invest in linebacker (free agency, draft, whatever)
- Fire this coaching staff into orbit.
I feel sorry for Jason Kelce. He's been so close to retirement and the way thing's ended with Doug Pederson was almost the nail in the coffin. I'm glad he got a ring while an Eagle and got to have fun ride last year with his brother. This year did him dirty
I will never understand how Matt Patricia keeps getting work. The nepotism must be going crazy. He somehow made this defense worse than it was. And it was pretty damn bad.
The D line is actually pretty talented but they have no true identity. The edges are asked to drop into coverage too often and Jordan Davis hasn't fully developed into a true all pro run stopping nose. So we're not seeing sacks and we're not seeing a stout run D
They also paid the wrong guy in paying James Bradberry. TJ Edwards, CJGJ, or Marcus Epps were the guys they should have used that money on. Slay has actually held up way better than people give him credit for.
The defense is an unmitigated disaster. If there's one area where bad personnel decisions were made, it was here. This team has never valued safetys and off ball linebackers and it finally bit them
There is no perfect scheme. The league is sometimes about ziging when others zag. But the Eagles haven't had answers to simple issues for 3 years now. They've just outalented teams and it finally caught up to them.
Either no one on the Eagle's coaching staff understands modern offenses or Nick Sirianni is an idiot who refuses to listen to his staff. Either way, he's gotta go. This team literally just ran a sequel to last year and thought defenses wouldn't catch up.
Gonna tweet through it for a bit. I bet big money on Tampa cause I love an emotional hedge. This will be a yearly tradition. It's the perfect way to watch sports
Witnessing the entirety of NFL twitter observe how trash this Philly coaching staff is the closest thing to unity I've seen in long time. It's honestly beautiful.
