I had to break ties with people I thought would be in my life forever. When you start to realize that everybody isn’t for you until they need you & you’re more of a friend or better partner to them than they are to you then you’ll eventually learn how to kick it alone.
just saw 2 middle schoolers on a fair date and watched the girl snag the boys phiten necklace off and put it on and its just comforting to know that some things are still sacred
I feel sorry for Netflix era kids. They will never know the high stakes adrenaline of running to the bathroom/fridge/bedroom in a single ad break, with the beckoning call of a sibling screaming “It’s ONNNNNN” to send you hurdling over furniture to get back in time.
“friends” that compete with you, embarrass you publicly, belittle your thoughts/opinions, discuss your business with others, make you feel inferior to them, and just all around drag you down are not your friends.
They are toxic and quite frankly your enemy.
