I underestimated just how deeply ingrained the two party system and "voting matters" was in the general population.

Or at least in certain generations. We are living in two different timelines.

You're scared to death of things that might happen while we want accountability for the things that already have.

We are not afraid because we can take care of ourselves. Thankfully because the republicans proved to be nothing but lame duck Weenies.

The government isn't going to save you. The Republicans are not going to stop Jihad from coming into the US if the great replacement theory is accurate.

Both parties want the same thing. And by voting you're taking the responsibility off of them when the bottom falls out.

The conversation needs to change from lesser of two evils to what can we do now.

This is Matthew Perna. He believed in fair elections. He voted in the 2020 election and believed it was fraudulent. He went to DC to "let his voice be heard". Nothing changed. The election results were not overturned because, the Republicans sat there and did NOTHING.

He was arrested BEFORE Biden was sworn in. He watched the inauguration with the hopes that there would be an announcement saying the results were overturned. But they weren't, because the Republicans did NOTHING.

He had never been arrested before. So he (and others) began calling several Republican congress members seeking help. Not one call was returned, because the Republicans looked the other way and did NOTHING.

So at 37 years old, he pled guilty and thought he was facing 6-12 months in prison. Then the DOJ informed him they were seeking to add a terrorism enhancement, which could increase his sentence to over 10 years. The Republicans sat back and watched 1600 Americans have their constitutional rights ignored, and did NOTHING.

President Trump was elected. The J6ers who had not already killed themselves were pardoned; those who were dead didn't benefit at all. Their families grieve because the Republicans did NOTHING.

My family has waited for arrests, investigations, some resemblance of justice...but none have happened, because the Republicans, WHO CONTROL ALL 3 BRANCHES....HAVE DONE NOTHING.

So now, on election day... except voting for the ending of property taxes in Florida...I will do NOTHING.

LAWSUIT: Eight officers raided his home before dawn.

His offense? He filmed an officer speeding, criticized him when he got to a drive-thru, and embarrassed the department.

In a free country, criticizing police shouldn’t end in handcuffs.

In 2022, Joshua Gibbons filmed a Kingsport, Tennessee police SUV speeding without lights or sirens, violating state law.

He caught up with the officer at a drive-thru and had salty words about his disregard for the law.

That exchange lasted all of one minute. The consequences for Joshua lasted four years.

After someone complained about a different video — an officer flipping Gibbons off — police scoured Gibbons’ YouTube channel for ammunition.

Before dawn the next morning, while Gibbons was still in bed, eight armed officers raided his mother’s home to arrest him — for speeding using a cellphone while driving, and disorderly conduct.

A judge dismissed the speeding and cellphone charges but convicted him of disorderly conduct, saying he was “offended by the way” Gibbons was “talking to that officer.” Gibbons appealed. At a second trial, a jury again found him guilty.

In June, the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals unanimously reversed that conviction and dismissed the charge.

The court found “no evidence” that Gibbons’ criticism prevented anyone from doing anything lawful.

The court recognized — as many courts had held — that even “profane and insulting” words alone aren’t a crime, especially when directed at police officers, who are trained to exercise restraint.

With FIRE’s help, Gibbons is suing to vindicate his First Amendment rights.

The First Amendment protects your right to film and criticize police. Kingsport PD needs to hear that message loud and clear.

Trump had the opportunity to rule with an iron fist this term, and was given the mandate to do so in 2024 by winning both the electoral college (by a landslide) and the popular vote.

Instead, he blew all his political capital on the war with Iran and stuff that no one cared about, like the Kennedy Center. He hired women and retards like Kash Patel to run his cabinet. He refused to debank illegals and go after employers of illegals while simultaneously conducting deportations-as-a-performance-art, which did nothing but energize the left. Not a single person in the administration avenged the murder of Charlie Kirk, despite having the overwhelming support to do so. Now the economy sucks and people under 40 years old see no path to prosperity.

It’s been a long chain of disappointments.

Bastiat's correction explores the counterfactual, all the uses of resources had the rock not been thrown at all.

I fear that much of what is celebrated as the jobs machine of the medical-care industry is exactly the same. It is people getting ever sicker from iatrogenic injury, generating more service provision, more profits for the massive and growing insurance industry, and more drugs sales.

Broken windows, nearly all of it. This is not output expansion much less wealth creation. It's evidence of wealth destruction and declining population health.
