The entire purpose of Lanterns was to kill off Hal Jordan so that fans wouldn’t ask for him in the DCU. They tried to humiliate him and then killed him off. Ironically Kyle Chandler’s Hal is universally noted as the best part of #Lanterns. I’m so glad this backfired. The writers HATED HAL JORDAN
