@ChiHodl@HodlMagoo By same logic your single vote accomplished absolutely nothing. Which is good, because if it did determine presidency then trump would be in office bombing Iran or something
I have a friend who chose not to vote this time because he believes that, regardless of who becomes president, nothing will change for him personally, that it’s all just theater. While I respect his perspective, I disagree. Even though Trump may not directly impact every detail of your personal life, his policies can create an environment in the U.S. that provides the best possible opportunities for anyone, regardless of background, gender, or life circumstances, to succeed. It’s then up to us to seize those opportunities and make the most of them. Stack Harder ⚡️
@Havingfun2206@samtripoli You’re a fucking idiot if you can’t see this as an extremely effective & coordinated beginning to massies 2028 presidential campaign to represent the next era of republican rhetoric, all to gain your consent to perpetuate an oppressive system
@DeltaClimbs@BurnTheFed Grew up in church, my dad is a pastor. I’ve seen so many Christians excuse downright evil behavior under the premises that they’re “right.” Said behavior typically achieves the opposite of the evangelism you’re commissioned to…
@ToxiKat27@0xaos@MrHodl@Meditation_Man Still, as BTC price increases so does incentive to 51% attack & would theoretically be easier with fewer miners. So somewhere down the line there is an optimal threshold of overall network decentralization of miners, to mitigate said risk.
@ToxiKat27@0xaos@MrHodl@Meditation_Man there’s so many existing unprofitable home miners run by true bitcoiners & more would arise to secure the network if necessary. It would make corporations have to capitulate & push the block template out of mining pools & to the home miners.
@ToxiKat27@0xaos@MrHodl@Meditation_Man Security budget is just a way to measure network security. There’s a certain threshold of miner rewards required to maintain optimal decentralization of consensus.
There is a “budget” set aside in the code. It’s the block reward, to incentivize mining.
@ToxiKat27@0xaos@MrHodl@Meditation_Man This cannot be a real comment… Please be satire…
As a bitcoiner, I can’t take the secondhand embarrassment much longer 🤢
@Chris_Hutch7@CatJFaux My concern here is if archival nodes are the only full record of the ledger, which plays a crucial role in verifiability, that not having enough archival nodes could centralize access to that data & lead to tampering or presenting a false record collaboratively w other bad actors
