Good day, Crime Watch. I would like to raise a concern regarding the service I received at Bakers Inn Julius Nyerere Branch, near Harare Central Police Station.

I purchased 3 quarter chicken and chips meals, 3 Minute Maid juices, and 3 bottles of water. After paying, I was given my receipt and proceeded to the collection point, expecting the order to be packed in a carrier bag. Instead, the food and drinks were simply placed on the counter and I was told to collect them.

With such a large order, I found it difficult to understand how I was expected to carry everything without a carrier bag. If carrier bags are not provided free of charge, customers should at least be informed at the till and given the option to purchase one before collecting their order.

I have purchased from other Bakers Inn branches before and have, on some occasions, been provided with a carrier bag. This experience was disappointing and appeared unprofessional.

I hope Bakers Inn reviews this issue and improves customer service by ensuring customers with larger orders are either provided with suitable packaging or informed of the available options before payment. Thank you
