The Three Rivers bike racks have held a special place in pittsburgher's hearts for more than 20 years.
And while the modernized square might seem new, I hope these small details make pittsburghers feel like the square is very much still our own unique public space.
Honored to be the first bike parked in new market square.
We saved the original seven Three Rivers bike racks from the 2009 redesign, and integrated them more prominently at the "gateways" into the 2026 modernized square.
In the tradition of dressing up as a hyper local Pittsburgh lore & regional reference. I am peanutbuddaboi (along with big mac 99cents) half of the hype team / backup dancers for local queer djs Jellyfish. #Pittsburgh
Good news! I am a lucky witness to staff currently changing the gate numbers at the @PITairport as part of the renovation. Bad news! There are a lot of people walking around confused, looking for a gate number that is now lost to the annals of history. #Pittsburgh
Excited to showcase Pittsburgh's local artists in @DowntownPitt. Thx to @samuel_long16 for highlighting 2 murals I had the pleasure to work w/Phil Seth, @82concepts, & Max GEMS Gonzales. Happy to give a walking tour of all Dahntahn's amazing public art!

'High Five' to a successful first season of a pedestrian-centric Market Square! During our weekly Farmer's Market, the PDP kept half of the ring-road opened to pedestrians while closed to drivers. Let's rethink how 10 shady parking spaces could better serve people! @DowntownPitt
