One Nation is saying what a lot of Australians have been waiting to hear: loving this country is not a crime, and it is not extremism.
Pride in the flag. Australia Day. Wanting a say on who comes here and how fast. That is not hate. That is home. For years people who feel that way have been told they are racist, backward, far right, just for refusing to be ashamed of the place that raised them. One Nation is standing with them, not over them.
Then there is Mehreen Faruqi. The Greens talk peace and inclusion, then carve the country up. Her “white man” talk did exactly that. It pointed at ordinary Australians and made skin the issue. It told one group they were the problem and called it justice. That is not unity. That is division, dressed up as virtue, and then aimed at anyone who answers back.
One Nation’s answer is the old one, and it still holds: equal treatment. Same rules, same country, no ranking by race, colour or creed. Argue the policy if you want. Stop punishing people for loving Australia. 🇦🇺
