You know the other great thing about these Yankee stadium shows?

It’s 3 nights. And 3 completely different shows.

Which means each night he’s doing 90 mins of completely different songs.

Which means 2 things:

1. His catalogue is insane

2. He knows the lyrics 20-30 year old songs… a lot of them being songs he probably hasn’t performed in the same amount of time… and he remembers those lyrics because he rehearses. And he rehearses enough to edit people’s names out that he don’t fuck with anymore. Lol

It’s attention to detail that separates “really good” from “great”.

There are endless amounts of bad rappers… there are tons of good ones. Theres a lot of REALLY good ones. There are very very very few truly great ones.

Jay is rare air. And it’s actually undeniable. It’s not even close with a lot of these guys
