Founded in 1959, Bruce was first located to the east of the campus. We're now based in a modern, purpose-built House opened in 1990...and we love spiders!
HRH Queen Elizabeth II has been a constant throughout our lives. As well as monarch, she has been a truly extraordinary and inspirational person. Bruce House stood together in silence this evening as the @gordonstoun chapel bell tolled in respect to her and her remarkable legacy.
A really super evening last night as the CBs met together at the Michael Kirk for their CB Service, another sign that this academic year @gordonstoun is well underway. Our three Bruce CBs looked very smart with their new badges and ties. #leadership
Great #team times at the interhouse football this weekend. Lovely goal here from Nathan M, with the @brucehse team mascot raising happy house spirit. A lovely way to spend an afternoon @gordonstoun thanks to @GstounSport for all the work they put into interhouse #teamwork
Lots of fun activities going on tonight @gordonstoun. These @brucehse folk are heading out with the choice of the Charity Ball or an organised quiet social with friends... have fun everyone, whatever you are doing this evening. #friendship#socialtime#fun
Well done to the @brucehse junior students who have won the inter-house rowing competition. They supported one another fantastically to achieve this victory! #greatwork#teamwork#rowing
Chinese New Year in the refectory - amazing menu including oriental beef, sweet and sour veg, sesame soy glazed cabbage, jasmine rice, crispy golden salt and pepper chicken wing and vegetable stir fry. To name but some of what was on offer! #yumyumyum
Thank you to the @gordonstoun house captains for a moving and respectful chapel to mark #WorldHolocaustMemorialDay. Six candles for six million victims.
