🇩🇰NEWS: Today we are thrilled to announce the launch of Ada’s first European Angel programme with the launch of Ada’s Angel programme in Denmark.  Applications to become one of the inaugural Ada’s Angels in Denmark are now open. 🇩🇰

The Danish Angel programme will see up to 10 Angels given access to a pot of £800,000/kr.7.0M to invest in exciting new startups. Those who are successful will be given the opportunity to invest up to kr200,000 in individual startups building game-changing solutions across economic empowerment, healthy ageing and climate equity. Each Angel can make up to 5 investments during their year-long membership of the programme. The startups they choose to back must be Danish based but have a strong link to the UK.

The successful applicants to the programme will be unveiled at the @AARSOME Townhall event in May. Founders looking for investment can join the Danish Angels at our event at @TechBBQ in September.

Our co-founding Partner, Matt Penneycard, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing our Angel programme to Denmark. Our community of scouts and angels in the UK is an invaluable part of how our fund finds and champions the most diverse pool of exceptional founder talent who are building game-changing businesses. NEWS: Today we are thrilled to announce the oversubscribed final close of Ada Ventures Fund II at £63m/$80m.

The £63m/$80m fund is dedicated to breakthrough ideas across the fund’s three themes: climate equity, healthy ageing and economic empowerment. We will continue to make pre-seed and seed investments between £250k and £1.5m

And we’re already on our way.

Our investment team has partnered with 11 new companies across the UK including, @Blakbear_, @MaterialsNexus, @Openformat_tech, @wearejunobio, @PlannerPalAI, MultiOmic, @glowb_uk, BOLDR, @greenworkx_ and Radiant Matter.

A big thank you to the LPs who joined Ada Ventures Fund II including @BritishBBank, @EdinburghUni, @BigSocietyCap, @landg_group, @atomico, @Eifo_fond and @MoltenVentures.
