@RichieCo79@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible How many subscribers do you have lined up for them? What would they watch it the signed up today?
I couldn’t make sense of the middle I’m afraid.
Sky still exist, could lower their sports model offer by £8, TNT by £2, and then how much do I save a month?
@RichieCo79@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible Keep all the money, might be 30 times less than they currently make.
The PL’s tv money is a guarantee payment, and paid in advance each season.
Sky still exist, if anything it’s an extra x amount per month for consumers.
@RichieCo79@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible There is no risk now, as the money is guaranteed, Sky and TNT cover the risk.
They can’t show 3pm games.
They have no content between Monday-Friday some weeks
No content between May-August, and they have to pay for everything in terms of tech, producing the content, staff,
@OfficialTomLee@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible 30 million subscribers, from a standing position, who could drop off at anytime, and now covering all the costs that go with this.
Not as an attractive proposition as perhaps suggested…
@Swaz_LFC@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible They need to make more than around £3.5B a season, to make it worth how, is that 29 millions subscribers, yeah I think that stick with the guaranteed revenue from the broadcaster, who incur all the risk, cost maintenances and customer service.
@RichieCo79@WilloMCI@PThomason01@UKFootyBible At what cost? They have no risk at the moment, it’s all on Sky & TNT, now you think the clubs want all the additional cost, risk and no guarantee of revenue numbers on their P&L. Let me know which clubs will vote for that.
@hakano1882@laura_woodsy@TeleFootball You seem to be chatting a lot of garbage @hakano1882
Laura is the anchor/host for all CL games on TNT, it’s quite normal to bring on ex players for one of the teams playing, and even more expected that you are going to lean more towards the English team like this instance.
