Labor must reverse the neo liberal model of turning public housing into ghettos of poverty and disadvantage.
We could create a lasting Labor legacy by building a good society that cares for all and provides affordable, sustainable homes. Reject profit before people.
At what point do we stop pretending our newspapers are ‘news’ and start calling them what they are…
Promotional pamphlets for the billionaires who own them and the agendas they’re selling.
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT FINDS IT FUCKING INSANE THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE US GOVERNMENT IS ACTUALLY TRYING TO PUNISH A COMEDIAN FOR TELLING A JOKE, BUT NOT THE PRESIDENT FOR TERRORIZING THE WORLD AND THREATENING TO DEMOLISH AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION 🤷
RIDICULOUS 🤡
Jim Chalmers on the TV warning that the cost of CARING FOR PEOPLE must be “sustainable” a week after his Labor Govt announced yet another $53 BILLION for weapons to KILL PEOPLE makes me sick to my stomach.
Labor, Liberal, One Nation et al are gluttonous ghouls.
We are not safe.
Remarkable that the FWs bleating about “Australian values” are the same people demanding we turn a blind eye to war crimes. The hypocrisy is staggering.
Pauline Hanson’s solution to the housing crisis: ban foreigners.
Foreign buyers are 0.8% of purchases. Treasury found they contributed 0.5–1% to price growth. When borders closed during COVID and migration collapsed, house prices kept rising.
Labor already banned foreign purchases of established homes in April 2025. Hanson wants a permanent ban on a problem that is less than 1% of the market.
As usual — attack migrants. No solutions.
Gas companies are under pressure and are peddling absolute BS to Australians. But we're seeing through their spin.
Tragically the major parties keep using the industry’s lines and putting multinational gas companies interests ahead of the interests of Australians.
We deserve a fair return on our offshore gas exports. Simple as that.
A 25% gas export tax won't stop investment overnight or destroy the gas industry (all these arguments were used in Norway when they decided to tax their gas exports) - we’ll just have more revenue to pay down debt, put some in a sovereign wealth fund and fund cost of living relief Australians desperately need right now.

Australia could take the lead here and, given our close relationship to the US, the world would listen. Starting with shutting our airspace to the US military, removing troops embedded in the US military and stopping US bases here being part of war crimes.
