@pn_neil_allen The signings of Schein and Milovanović are becoming transfer sagas. Pompey were firstly ‘pursuing‘ them then deals were ‘agreed‘ then they were ‘on the brink‘. Now Schien must be in one of the longest holding patterns ever having flown out of Oslo for the South coast yesterday.

@pn_jordan_cross Hmm Pompey we’re on ‘the brink‘ of concluding deals for Shein and Milovanovic now deals are being ‘pursued’ for them. Not sure whether pursuing deals is a step back from being on the brink. Just hope this developing saga doesn’t provide opportunity for any deals to be hijacked!

@pn_jordan_cross Without any doubt Pompey owe Trevor Birch a great debt of gratitude for playing the key role in saving the club from possible liquidation in the 2012/13 period. Strangely I managed to engage online with Trevor througout that period and found him to be straight forward and honest.

@pn_jordan_cross Even if true is the Pompey ‘appeal’ based on the club having John M at the club and if he leaves will that appeal dissipate? Bringing in top quality signings could be a major problem if the club’s greatest asset leaves. Worrying times.

@pn_neil_allen After last 3 games Pompey were running on empty and taken together with injury absences tonight’s result was always likely. Even so it was genuinely a really poor performance but for once eyes were also on results elsewhere and Pompey survive. So well done to the players and JM.
