@kranoz72 I'm not arguing that they are literally the same experience lmao but if somebody doesn't want to play a game they can still engage with the community with the parts they did experience.
@totally_not_ace@IndigoWaffle Video games have visual elements, you can engage with parts of something and be very enthusiastic about it. Sure it's not "the exact same" but if you don't pretend it is such then there's no issue.

@wermsroom I've pirated games my whole life and it doesn't change the fact that being a fan of something is fully personal, nobody else can define that for you. There's shit I've played through 100% and I'm still not a fan of it, and there's games I've played 2 hours of that I'm a fan of
